 
The Jean-Pierre Lecocq Foundation and fund was established thanks to the gracious financial donations of friends and professional acquaintances of Jean-Pierre Lecocq following his tragic disappearance, January 20th, 1992.
The mission of the Foundation is to foster scientific innovation in molecular biology and its principle focus is the awarding of the Jean-Pierre Lecocq Foundation Prize under the auspices of The French Academy of Sciences. Since 1994, the Jean-Pierre Lecocq Foundation Prize rewards original and significant research work in the field of "Molecular Biology and its Applications". Last update: March 5th 2008  |
