All applications will be considered within the following limits:
- There can be no more than two laureates for the JEAN-PIERRE LECOCQ Prize.
- The Prize cannot be awarded twice to the same person.
- Candidates may be of any nationality and from any laboratory, in the public and private sectors (2006 & 2010 Prizes).
- Candidates may be of any nationality and from any laboratory, in the public and private sectors, but should be working in France (2004, 2008, & 2012 Prizes).
- Candidates may not be more than 55 years old. For a team, the mean age should not exceed 55 years.
- Candidates cannot be members of the French Academy of Sciences.
- The Candidate must have made a significant contribution in the precise field for which a prize is awarded in any given year.
